Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of advanced fiber optic transceiver products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of product design efforts.
- Define product specifications, requirements, and timelines in alignment with market demands and business objectives.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making and product roadmap development.
- Act as a subject matter expert in fiber optics communication, offering insights and recommendations to support product development and customer engagement activities.
- Champion best practices in design methodologies, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fiber optics communication, with expertise in optical design, precision mechanical design, or RF/circuit design.
- Proven track record of leadership in designing 400G, 800G pluggable optical transceivers (OSFP, QSFP-DD, etc.), from concept to production.
- Strong technical proficiency in optical communication principles, components, and systems, with a focus on high-speed data transmission.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to optical transceiver products is preferred.
